Whilst at Keele I set up a centre to bring together like minded people at Keele and in the UK.

John was a Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Management at Keele University; he researches accounting in the army, and is a former practitioner who served in the Regular Army and the Territorial Army as a commissioned paymaster
